GCS  ElastiGel (Visco Elastic Surfactant) is an advanced fluid system additive designed to provide viscosity and suspension without the use of conventional polymers or solid viscosifiers. Unlike traditional rheology modifiers, VES forms a dynamic, self-assembling micellar structure in solution that delivers viscoelastic properties, enabling efficient suspension and transport of solids while maintaining a clean and residue-free system.

This unique mechanism allows the fluid to exhibit high viscosity under low shear conditions for suspension, and low viscosity under high shear for easy pumping—making it highly effective in demanding oilfield applications.
