GCS GraphSeal (Graphite Powder) is a high-performance, fine-particle lost circulation material (LCM) designed to control fluid loss in micro-fractured and permeable formations. Engineered with a plate-like carbon structure, it is particularly effective in sealing fine pores and micro-fissures where conventional coarse LCM materials may not perform efficiently.

When added to drilling fluids, graphite particles penetrate deep into loss zones and align to form a thin, low-permeability barrier that restricts fluid invasion into the formation. In addition to its sealing capability, graphite offers natural lubricity, which helps improve particle placement and enhances the effectiveness of the sealing process. This dual functionality makes it a valuable component in advanced LCM formulations.
